Wow...
That was the coolest court I've ever seen!
Wow...
That was the coolest court I've ever seen!
I really really liked this...
Some people say that the voice acting wasn't that great, but I thought it was good. It made me laugh because of how lifeless it was. I'm not sure how to explain why it was funny. I guess I just didn't expect them to sound so jaded and bored. I sort of assumed you made them that way on purpose for comedic effect... Is that right?
Same goes for the shoot out... It seemed as if the lasers were slow, because, normally, you expect them to be fast-paced and action-packed. It's kind of like the way certain cartoons are sloppy on purpose, like Unforgotten Realms... Sloppiness is funny... People expect you go all out and try to make something amazing, so when you purposefully do the opposite, it's unexpected, and it's funny...
Not the best...
As much as I love the Unforgotten Realms series, this one was probably the worst one. Instead of peeing myself from the uncontrollable laughter, as is normally the case, this movie just made me feel awkward. It just seems as if, normally, the dialog between Mike and Rob is really tight and well done. Each character has his own role... Mike is the smart one, Rob is the dumb one who screws around. This new girl (Kagome? Again? Is there a series she isn't in?) seemed as if she was playing Rob's role sometimes and then Mike's role at other times... It just seemed as if she wasn't well thought out. Rob's character, being pushed aside from the goofball role seemed as if he didn't quite know what to do... That inconsistency made it really awkward. Also, as painful as it is to Kagome, or Rita-Chan, or whatever it is people are calling her these days, I just don't think she's that good... And she's in EVERYTHING... Not for nothing, but do flash animators have... You know... Female friends? Maybe a girl you know might want to give acting a shot... Rob Moran's acting was and is always really good. When he acts, everything's tight, and it flows smoothly... It seems natural... Kagome not only has a high-pitched voice, but her voice always sounds lifeless... It's as if she's just reading from a page into the mic.
I wish she'd take some acting lessons or something, since I can't seem to avoid her work. Maybe she could just try to memorize her lines, and psych herself up a bit more to get into character... That way her voice wouldn't have that same old "reading" feel to it.
Normally I don't like to write views for movies I didn't enjoy, because most people can't handle criticism, and they just say I'm being abusive, but I'm not saying this with any hatred or disgust. I love the other episodes, and I'm just trying to comment as honestly and truthfully as I know how, because I really believe in this series and your talent... Hopefully what I say is of some use to you...
I am glad I got to read this before some jackass marks it as abusive and newgrounds takes it down because OH NO IT'S GIVING ME A LOW SCORE. Anyway, this movie from start to finish was done in 3 days.
I got all the voices back from Rina-Chan on the 18th. She was a great voice actor and in terms of finding female voices on the internet there limited. It's obvious that you judged this film not on it's quality but out of personal spite for not likeing the voice actress I picked. The fact that you harass her by thinking you need acting lessons is just silly. Do you think I need acting lessons too? Fuck I'm not an actor, animator, or writer. I like to think I'm a bard when it comes to these things, a jack of all trades but a master of none.
It's sad that you are ripping an entire cartoon on personal dislike of one aspect of it. The female character fills a role neither Mike or Rob can fill. A girl. This lets me do a wide range of jokes and funny situations I couldn't do with Rob and Mike and having three characters allows me to switch up the roles of Rob and Mike.
Why should I always have one dumb and one smart character? You are suggesting that I should just have one theme of characters and then stick to it for an entire cartoon series? Well you my friend are also not a writer nor are you able to write a simple review without personal vendetta towards who I cast. I could have picked my sister or a friend but instead I found a sailor moon wanna be who was the exact voice I was looking for.
The funny thing is allow your entire review insults my choice of a voice actress, you gave SOUND the highest possible score so she must not have even been that bad in your eyes.
So in the end what this entire response comes down to is this, you are a faggot and I hope you die you unclassy son of a cunt. Merry Christmas.
Kinda cool....
Ah the "Fish-o-meter..." The pinnacle of stone-age technology...
What?
Didn't you just get two of your flashes on the front page in the last week? What are you complaining about? You're doing pretty freakin' well... At least compared to me you are. I've done 20 animations in the last two years and only got on the front page once.
Anyway... A "Keep 'em coming" seems in order right about now...
Yeah...
No one-winged angels were harmed in the making of this film...
Except for that one that had his BALLS hammered!!!
It was ok...
Yeah... In England, it's spelled "realise," but if you look in any American dictionary, it's "realize..." Americans spell things a but differently.
Anyway... As violent as David Firth's cartoons are, I think it's strange that Burnt Face Man's cartoons don't seem to have any violence in them --and superheroes are usually all about fighting... I was kind of hoping that Burnt Face Man would fight "Have A Nice Day Man," and "Detergent Dan..." Maybe "Rockhead Rumple..." If he just fought a couple of those guys from time to time, I think the series would improve a bit. Instead, they usually exchange a few insults and make BFM look gay and stupid. There isn't really anything wrong with that, but I think he should bump off a couple of those minor villains...
"Americans spell things a but differently"
hahahah. I hope that's a joke.
If Burnt Face Man were to attack any of his foes then he'd be a slightly better hero than he is. He's a coward, he wouldn't know what to do. The point of this cartoon is not to animate a load of violence. If it was then you'd know about it.
Great minds think a like...
I made a cartoon similar to this... Check out my cartoon called "A New Age."
nice ones :)
