I read it. :)

YouTube has a much bigger audience than NG in general, so it's always worth a shot. My goal with NG is to become more of a collective that "takes care of its own." In many ways it already is, but I hope to go a lot further with that mentality, to the point where we can collectively win back some of the viewers we lost to YouTube. Content on YouTube comes off as anonymous and disposable, whereas on NG we're working hard to build the names of the artists who contribute, with a hefty goal is to nurture an audience that appreciates the individual creators more, despite the large amounts of content available, which makes it easy for people to get spoiled.

=)

It's strange that more people would go to Youtube, considering the fact that the front page is often a collection of videos by random people who are griping and complaining about stuff they've only thought about for five minutes. I understand that a lot of Youtube's appeal is that you see amazing videos here and there, but a lot of it is Joe Schmoe, venting about his day, or naming five "interesting facts" about himself. Maybe part of the appeal is that you often don't need any talent of any kind to become famous on Youtube. You can cry and scream about Brittany Spears, and people will notice you. Newgrounds has its flaws too, but I'd venture to guess that the average NG user puts more time and effort into his/her work. The stuff on the front page here usually seems as if it's made over the course of hours or days... Or even years... So maybe part of the Youtube appeal is ego-driven. If that makes sense...

hmm a job may suck but hey having money is never a bad thing.
also you should find a 3-day schedule (sorry if I misspelled it) to complete it. It's amazing what you could get done in just 3 days.
