Do you record your sound effects? Or get them from a website?
I was getting most of mine from soundsnap.com, but the fuckers decided to begin charging you for them.
Kinda looking for a good soundeffect site now...
It depends. A couple of times I recorded my own sound effects, but usually I get them online. Some of the sites I use started charging too. I guess it's good to build your sfx library before all the websites start charging. Here's one that I've used that is still free:
